The reality series hosted by "Big Brother 2" winner Will Kirby was originally set to premiere on August 26th, but with other summer entries such as "Dog Eat Dog" performing better than expected, network executives decided they could wait on "Shack."

"Love Shack," follows a single man and single woman who compete against each other for a shot at winning a one-year lease on a California beach house. NBC has ordered six episodes of "Shack," which was set to air Tuesdays at 8 p.m. starting with its second episode. Reruns of "The Rerun Show" will air there instead. "We've had a lot of success this summer, and frankly, don't need it," said Jeff Gaspin, executive VP of alternative series, specials, longform and program strategy.
