MTV has announced it's ordered Bromance, a new reality competition series that will follow a group of guys from across the country as they travel to Hollywood for the opportunity to befriend The Hills regular Brody Jenner and become a member of his entourage.

"Bromance takes a successful TV format and turns it on its head in an irreverent way that would only work for MTV," MTV executive Liz Gateley gushed in the network's announcement. "Brody is the perfect fit for this concept -- he is type of guy everyone wants to hang out with and we're excited to further solidify our long-standing relationship with him that started with The Hills."
The dudes cast for Bromance will move to Hollywood where they'll live in a bachelor pad and compete in various group and individual challenges -- from skydiving in Las Vegas to dealing with the paparazzi -- that will test their trust, reliability and compatibility to determine who belongs in Jenner's inner circle.
Each episode will also see the guys go on "group dates" and receive "alone time" with Jenner, who throughout the series will eliminate participants via the "Hot Tub elimination ceremony" -- where booted bros leave the bachelor pad dripping wet and wearing a swim suit.
Bromance will conclude with one of the guys receiving an MTV-described "incredible prize package" that includes a spot in Jenner's entourage.

MTV has made a six-episode commitment to the series, which is executive produced by Jenner, Eric Podwall and American Idol host Ryan Seacrest's Ryan Seacrest Productions. Bromance was created by Jason Henry and Kathy Sutula, who are also co-executive producers.
"From Superbad and Wedding Crashers to Entourage, pop culture is filled with numerous examples of unabashed male bonding," said Seacrest. "As every guy knows, close male friendships aren't just a quirky television plotline or a running gag in the movies. Bromance is the first reality series to fully explore the essence of these life-long friendships."
It's not as though Jenner is a stranger to reality television.
The 24-year-old was featured in Fox's short-lived Summer 2005 Princes of Malibu reality series and has also had cameo appearances on E!'s Keeping up with the Kardashians -- which stars his dad Bruce Jenner, who is married to Kim Kardashian's mom Kris.
Of course he also regularly appears on The Hills, first showing up as Spencer Pratt's best bud and then as one of Lauren Conrad's numerous objects of affection.

"I am eager to have the opportunity to work with Liz Gateley, Tony DiSanto, Ryan Seacrest and MTV, and produce a series that is unique and will resonate with audiences everywhere," said Jenner. "Working as a producer on Bromance will give me the opportunity to exert my knowledge in a creative forum as well as strengthen my existing relationship with a paramount network such as MTV."
