Preachers' Daughters will feature the daily pressures the average teen faces with the added complication of their family's strong beliefs and time-honored traditions they were raised to abide by. According to the network, the teenage girls will struggle with moral, social, spiritual, and sexual conflicts due to being born into a faith-filled household.

"Adolescence can be a challenging time of transition for children and their parents," Lifetime executive Rob Sharenow said in a statement.

"By opening their homes and lives to our viewers, the families featured on Preachers' Daughters will provide an honest portrayal of their experiences -- bookended by the deep love they share and shifting household dynamics in their beliefs."

Preachers' Daughters' season will consist of eight episodes and premiere next year.
