The 30-year-old former "The Hills" star and designer announced plans to move away from the Windy City in an Instagram post this week after Cutler was released as quarterback from the team.

"So we're moving from Chicago soon and I gotta say, I'm really gonna miss this place," The Hills alum captioned a photo of herself in the city.

"Not only we're all 3 of my babies born here, it's where it all began with jay, it brought me closer to my mom who has become my best friend, I've made some amazing girlfriends, and I've really enjoyed being back here (a lot of people don't know I lived here when I was younger)," she added.

"Thanks for all the good times, Chicago. This will always be a special place for us," the star said.

The Chicago Bears released Cutler this month after eight seasons with the quarterback.

Cutler, who had an injury-plagued season, is now a free agent, but has yet to sign with a new team for the upcoming season.

"We are grateful to Jay for all he did as a Bear," Bears chairman George McCaskey said March 9 in a statement. "We wish Jay, Kristin and their three kids all the best."

Cavallari had defended Cutler from fat-shamers in January following the NFL star's injury in November.
