The commercial-free documentary called Breaking The Silence will air Sunday, August 30 from 10-11PM ET/PT.

In light of recent events surrounding 19 Kids & Counting star Josh Duggar's molestation past, TLC has partnered with abuse prevention organizations RAINN as well as Darkness to Light to promote education, raise awareness and start a conversation about sexual abuse among children under the age of 18.

The special will feature easy tools to support pending legislation, victims of child sexual abuse talking about their experiences and expert advice as to where people struggling with temptation can turn for help.

The brave survivors who have chosen to come forward in the documentary are Erin Merryn, a mom who is determined to put an end to abuse with "Erin's Law" legislation that has been passed in 26 states; Terrae Lee, a vocal advocate who co-founded the Young Survivor's Foundation; David Moody, a successful businessman who harbored a painful secret for 45 years and now counsels at-risk youth; and 11-year-old Kaelin, who has channeled her pain into public speaking.

Jill Duggar and Jessa Duggar will appear in the documentary and share their stories to promote adult education for the protection of children. Jill and Jessa were two of the children Josh had molested as a young teen more than a decade ago. Both girls have expressed forgiveness and the fact they've moved on.

According to TLC, an estimated one in ten children is sexually abused before the age of 18.

Breaking The Silence is being produced by NBC News' Peacock Productions.
