The 53-year-old television personality and her "Today" co-anchors dressed up as country stars, including Shelton and Dolly Parton, to celebrate the holiday on Tuesday's episode.

Kotb underwent elaborate hair and makeup to transform her into Shelton.

The real-life 41-year-old singer appeared on the episode to promote his 11th studio album, Texoma Shore, which debuts Friday.

"I love having my twin here," Kotb said. "This is, like, one of my favorite things ever!"

Matt Lauer, meanwhile, dressed as Parton, with Savannah Guthrie as Kenny Rogers, Al Roker as Willie Nelson, Carson Daly as Billy Ray Cyrus, Kathie Lee Gifford as Miley Cyrus and Megyn Kelly as Shania Twain.

Country star Reba McEntire introduced the "Today" cast, some of whom performed song and dance numbers with the actual singers.

Kotb kicked off Shelton's hit "Honey Bee" before the country star joined her onstage.

Kotb and her "Today" co-anchors dressed up as '90s icons last year.
