Fox Reality Channel has announced Househusbands of Hollywood, a new The Real Housewives-like reality series that will instead follow men responsible for running the house, will premiere Saturday, August 15 at 9PM ET/PT.

Each Househusbands of Hollywood episode will follow five men who "defy traditional marital roles by staying home to run the household while their wives head to work," according to Fox Reality Channel.

In addition to completing daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and caring for their children, the series will also follow the five men as they struggle with "managing their egos."

The 10-episode series is produced by Marilyn Wilson Productions Inc..

The five men starring in Househusbands of Hollywood -- and their Fox Reality Channel-supplied bios -- are:

- Billy Ashley, a former professional baseball player with the Los Angeles Dodgers who is married to celebrity makeup artist Lisa Ashley. Now a stay-at-home dad of their two pre-teen daughters, Alexa and Sophia, he also helps manage his wife's cosmetic lines, Lisa Ashley Beauty and l.a.girlfriend.

- Danny Barclay, a one-time pre-med student turned aspiring actor who is married to college sweetheart Katherine Barclay, an attorney at a Hollywood law firm.

- Darryl M. Bell, an actor best known for his role on the TV sitcom A Different World who plays house with longtime partner and former The Cosby Show actress Tempestt Bledsoe.

- Charlie Mattera, an aspiring actor/screenwriter who was once known as "The Gentleman Bandit" and is now married to a prominent psychologist to the stars.  He spends his time at home raising their baby son, Ryan, and also serves as co-executive producer and co-creator of the Househusbands of Hollywood.

- Grant Reynolds, a former Marine Corps sniper who is married to former Skating with Celebrities participant and current American Idol Extra co-host Jillian Reynolds.  He is currently an actor and stay-at-home dad of their 2-year-old daughter, Ruby.
