The former Real Chance of Love star experienced trouble with his vision and speech Friday night while family was visiting and he passed away a few hours later, TMZ reported.

Ahmad's brother Kamal "Chance" Givens, who had also starred on the VH1 reality dating competition, told the website that Ahmad's situation became more grim after he took a fall in January. He was bedridden from that day forward.

Ahmad was reportedly diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer back in 2013. After doctors found seven tumors, he underwent a surgical procedure to remove most of his liver. Ahmad's representative told Us Weekly at the time his family set up a website to raise money for his radiation treatment and they were optimistic about his condition.

However, Ahmad's cancer returned earlier this year and he started chemotherapy treatments, according to TMZ.

Kamal reportedly posted the following tribute to his brother online recently: "I'll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God's kingdom forever and ever bro words can't describe my pain world pray for me!"

Ahmad began his TV career in 2007 when he had competed on VH1's I Love New York reality series. He then went on to star in a Real Chance of Love spinoff with Kamal from 2008 to 2009 as well as a second season of the show called Real Chance of Love: Back in the Saddle.

The brothers later starred on Real & Chance: The Legend Hunters in 2010.
