The single "Sympathy Magic" and its accompanying music video dropped Monday, following Florence + The Machine's performance of the song on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon Sunday.

Florence Welch, 39, appeared on the stage in a cream colored gown as she sang about releasing the impulse to be "good."

"I do not find worthiness or virtue. I no longer try to be good. It didn't keep me safe, like you told me that it would," she sang.

In the music video, the singer writhes in the grass in a wide open field in black stockings and white and cream set.

The song arrives ahead of the album Everybody Scream, due Friday, joining her previously released tracks "Everybody Scream" and "One of the Greats."

Other songs on that album include "Witch Dance," "Perfume and Milk," "Buckle," "Kraken," "The Old Religion," "Drink Deep," "Music by Men," "You Can Have it All" and "And Love."

On Friday, Welch announced the band's upcoming tour across North America, beginning April 8 in Minneapolis and winding down May 20 in Los Angeles.
