"Well, you know even though I went on The Bachelor and Bachelorette I'm pretty traditional, believe it or not, so yeah for sure," Maynard told Ryan Seacrest during an appearance with Holm on his On Air with Ryan Seacrest syndicated radio show.

During the interview, Holm also explained the unusual origin of his first name, Jef with one "F."

"I mean, my full name's Jeffrey with two F's, but then, I mean when I was little, really little, when I was in like fifth grade, one of my friends just suggested that we change it and it just kind of stuck," said Holm. "It's like one of those names, you know, like nicknames are taken on and it just kind of sticks, and I've just been known by that just my whole life."

Maynard selected Holm, a 27-year-old entrepreneur from Salt Lake City, UT, over Arie Luyendyk Jr., a 30-year-old race car driver from Scottsdale, AZ, during The Bachelorette's eighth-season finale, which aired Sunday night and concluded with a happy engagement in Curacao.
