Witney appeared on the Monday, August 17 episode of Good Morning America to announce that she'll be partnered with Jimmy Kimmel Live! star Guillermo Rodriguez on Dancing with the Stars this fall.

Witney recalled how she was "so stoked" when she first found out she's going to be paired with Guillermo, a comedian who is considered to be Jimmy Kimmel's right-hand man.

"I think he is so sweet," Witney gushed on GMA.

"He's so fun. That's exactly what I need in this season of life that I'm in, just someone who's fun, personable."

The only thing Witney is apparently worried about is how she and Guillermo are going to celebrate their successes.

"I hope we still connect after he realizes I don't drink and we won't be able to do tequila shots," she said with a laugh, "but we can do some water. We can connect in other ways, but I'm really, really excited."

Guillermo's Dancing with the Stars participation was announced in June.

Around that time, Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough teased that Dancing with the Stars is going to have "a really good cast" for Season 35 and it's "going to be a great one."

"We're having this momentum from the past two seasons," Derek told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this summer.

"The celebrities are so excited to be on the show, to dance, to compete, to really get the full experience, and that dynamic of a celebrity who is wanting [to win] and really embracing it, that's what creates great seasons."

Joining Guillermo in the Dancing with the Stars ballroom will be Jackson Olson, a Savannah Bananas player and content creator, and Maura Higgins, who starred on Love Island UK and finished The Traitors' fourth season as the runner-up.

The other celebrity whom Dancing with the Stars has announced thus far is Summer House star Ciara Miller, who also competed on The Traitors' third season.

Witney -- a two-time mirrorball trophy champion who will be going on her 16th DWTS season -- shared on GMA how she keeps coming back to Dancing with the Stars because "the show is so beautiful."

Witney continued, "And I think why people keep coming back to watch it is because it's so joyous."

Witney explained how Dancing with the Stars does not "harp on the drama" or negativity.

"We don't try to make drama. I mean, there's obviously natural drama, but we really support each other, and the comradery and the positivity that it brings to people," Witney said.

"And I think people are just drawn to that energy. It's a little escape for people, and I'm just very grateful to be a part of a show that promotes that."

The names of additional celebrity participants are expected to leak out in the coming weeks.

But the full cast of celebrities and professional dancers competing on the next season of Dancing with the Stars won't be announced until Wednesday, September 2 on Good Morning America.

Dancing with the Stars is set to premiere its 35th season with a two-night event on Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16 on ABC and Disney+. Episodes will stream the following day on Hulu.

Dancing with the Stars' Season 34 finale was the most-watched finale in nine years, and according to ABC, 72 million votes came through on the final night of performances.

Witney won Dancing with the Stars' 34th season with wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin in November.
