Drew and Cheryl were the fifth couple eliminated from Dancing with the Stars after receiving the lowest total of judges' scores and home viewer votes cast following last Monday night's performance show. The judges' scores and America's vote from last night's episode, which was dubbed "Party Anthem Night," will count towards next week's elimination.

"I got farther than I thought I would, to tell you the truth, I did. And I just want to say thanks to Dancing with the Stars. I mean, I've loved the show. I've watched it for years and I always wondered what it would be like to be on the thing and dance with Cheryl specifically," Drew said following his ouster.

"Cheryl's great, and so, I just want to say thanks for letting me borrow your dance floor to fulfill this fantasy. It's been great! Thanks for everything. Thanks for all the kindness and the love. Thank you!"

"I'm so proud of Drew," Cheryl said during a video montage that played at the end of last night's episode. "We had a great time together. He's so funny and he just embraces the show."

Drew and Cheryl danced before the round of results were revealed, so they earned 32 out of 40 possible points for their tango routine from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as well as guest judge Redfoo from the group LMFAO.

Actress and former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure and partner Mark Ballas were also in jeopardy of elimination last night, however, they were not necessarily one of the bottom-two couples. Candace and Mark tied with Drew and Cheryl for seventh place on the judges' leaderboard, as they also earned 32 total points for a cha cha routine. Both couples therefore landed at the very bottom of last night's standings.

The judges' leaderboard was topped by Sochi Olympics ice dancing gold medalist Meryl Davis and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. The pair danced a tango worthy of a perfect score, 40 points.

Double-amputee snowboarding champion Amy Purdy and partner Derek Hough earned 38 points for a jive performance, securing them second place on the leaderboard.

Third place represented a tie between two couples: Sochi Olympics ice dancing gold medalist Charlie White and partner Sharna Burgess as well as actress and former The Wonder Years star Danica McKellar and partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Both pairs earned 36 points from the judges after dancing cha cha routines.
