Clare Crawley never gave up on love, but she apparently never thought she'd get married.

French Canadian bachelor Benoit Beausejour-Savard proposed marriage to Clare, a four-time The Bachelor bachelorette, during The Bachelor Winter Games: World Tells All special, which aired Thursday night on ABC.

Clare and Benoit broke up on Winter Games but reunited once filming wrapped, and they fell in love while dating for a couple of months.

"I get emotional talking about this, but I never thought I would have a wedding," Clare, 36, admitted to Us Weekly at the World Tells All taping.

"Before my dad passed away, we had our own little like father-daughter dance at home, when we knew he was going to pass away. After that, the wedding wasn't important. I think that's when your dad gives you away, and that's, to me, old fashioned, but it's how things go. So, I never thought I'd have a wedding!"

Clare previously competed on Season 18 of The Bachelor for Juan Pablo Galavis' heart and finished as the runner-up. She then competed on two different seasons of Bachelor in Paradise, failing to find love both times.

But Winter Games did the trick for Clare, and since she met her future husband on a Bachelor spinoff, she's not opposed to doing a TV wedding.

"It's a celebration of love. Who knows? I never thought it would happen for me. Even on the shows," Clare told Us. "So, it's not out of the picture for me."

Benoit also revealed that Neil Lane designed and created a custom ring for Clare since the one Benoit envisioned wasn't initially offered.

"[The ring] is amazing. It was exactly what I asked, and he did the best job ever," said the 31-year-old restaurant manager from Montreal.

"It just blows my mind. It's the first time I had to shop for this. It will be the last one, for sure. It's kind of stressful, but I'm glad she likes it!"

During a separate interview with Extra, Clare insisted she never saw the engagement coming, as the thought wasn't even on her radar.

And Benoit confessed he was "shaking" throughout the entire World Tells All special and needed to repeatedly convince himself to "stay calm and chill."

"It was the most, I would say, stressful moment of my life. But I'm so happy I did it," Benoit said, adding that he decided to propose within a week of the reunion special's taping.

"I'm in love with her more than ever, so why not do it now?" Benoit told Extra about his spontaneous decision to pop the question. "I want to spend the rest of my days with her."

Clare noted that she's going to let the fact she's engaged "sink in" before jumping into "the planning."
