Chrissy Teigen live-tweeted Tuesday her experience being onboard a diverted Tokyo-bound flight that was forced to return to Los Angles due to an unauthorized passenger being onboard.

"A flying first for me: 4 hours into an 11 hour flight and we are turning around because we have a passenger who isn't supposed to be on this plane. Why...why do we all gotta go back, I do not know," the model and "Lip Sync Battle" co-host said before she started regularly updating her followers on the situation.

"I don't know why I'm not more upset about this. The pleasure I get out of the story is worth more to me than a direct flight to Tokyo," she continued.

The All Nippon Airways flight was bound for Tokyo's Narita Airport before it turned back to LAX after it was discovered that an unauthorized person made it onboard.

"During the flight, the cabin crew became aware that one of the passengers boarded the incorrect flight and notified the pilot. As part of the airline's security procedure, the pilot in command decided to return to the originating airport, where the passenger was disembarked," Nippon Airways said in a statement Wednesday.

"ANA is researching the situation currently to determine how the passenger boarded the flight. ANA would like to express its apologies to the passengers for the inconvenience. We take great pride providing exemplary customer service, and on this flight we failed to do so."

Teigen said that passengers explained to her that the unauthorized person was let onto the flight despite having a ticket for a different airline.

"They keep saying the person had a United ticket. We are on ANA. So basically the boarding pass scanner is just a beedoop machine that makes beedoop noises that register to nowhere," she said.

LAX Airport Police had a unit and supervisors on scene to meet flight ANA 175 as it arrived back to Los Angeles, ABC 7 reported.

Authorities said the flight was returned to LAX due to a "mix up and was straightened up."

"Police were interviewing all the people seated around the mystery person once we got off the plane. Why would they do this! I MUST KNOW MORE," Teigen said of meeting with police before noting that she did not find out more concerning the incident.

"No will spill anything. I wish I had more for you guys. I wish I could be your Snowden."

The flight was re-boarded and sent back to Tokyo Wednesday morning.

Teigen continued to live-tweet the event, sharing how she and her husband John Legend were provided with a resting room as they waited to re-board the plane.
