Camille Grammer is "in pain" but healing after being treated for a type of skin cancer.

The 49-year-old television personality said at "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Season 8 premiere Friday that she's recovering after undergoing surgery for squamous cell carcinoma.

"I'm in pain," she told E! News on the red carpet.

"I made it here tonight. I was just like, 'Okay, grin and bear it.' But I'm recovering well ... I'm healing."

Grammer also spoke to Us Weekly at the event. She credited her mom, who is also battling cancer, with helping her stay positive following her diagnosis.

"My mom is fighting her third cancer and she's an inspiration to me, she's so strong," the star said.

"I think I get my strength from her and my knowledge of how to handle and deal with cancer.

"We're both there for each other. I think keeping your family close and having them support you helps you so much, and also having a good man in your life," she added, referencing fiance David C. Meyer.

Grammer announced in an Instagram post Thursday that she was diagnosed with cancer for a second time.

She previously underwent a radical hysterectomy after being diagnosed with endometrial cancer in 2013.

"Thank God We found it early. (squamous cell carcinoma) *Early detection is key. My cancer was removed and I'm resting at home," the star said.

"Ladies listen to your bodies. If something doesn't seem right go for a checkup."
