Move over Tyra Banks, there's a new supermodel competition hitting the airwaves. Bravo's new Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model, a male takeoff of Tyra's popular America's Next Top Model UPN series, hosted by Carmen Electra, will premiere Wednesday, October 13 at 10PM ET/PT.

Turning the world of modeling "on its high-heels," the eight-episode Manhunt will focus its attention on the "ever-neglected world of male fashion models" as fifteen men compete to become the king of the catwalk. Manhunt's winner will get a one-year contract with top international modeling agency IMG -- the same agency with which Top Model's women contestants are also competing for a contract.

Bruce Hulse, who Bravo claims is "widely regarded as the industry’s first male supermodel," will play the role of Top Model's self-described "world’s first supermodel" judge Janice Dickinson on Manhunt. Joining Bruce on the judging panel will be Marisa Miller, who the network bills as "one of todays most sought after modeling muses." No stranger to reality TV viewers, Carmen was last seen in the seven-part MTV series ‘Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave which documented the lives of Carmen and Dave Navarro during the months leading up to their wedding and culminating with the wedding ceremony.

"Carmen Electra has just the right mix of energy, magnetism and fun to be the ideal host and guide for the young, novice competitors on Manhunt," said Bravo president Lauren Zalaznick. "Bruce and Marissa bring their own diverse experience and expertise to their roles as the show’s judges and their natural chemistry is a fortunate bonus for the show."

Despite the remarkable similarities between the programs, Top Model executive producers Ken Mok and Tyra Banks have no role in the series. Instead, the program is a production of TWI, the television arm of IMG and is produced by Average Joe producer Stuart Krasnow.
