The Associated Press reports that Will Mega, 31, who was known as Will Collins when he became the first person voted out of the house during the first U.S. season of CBS's Big Brother in 2000, yesterday lost his bid to become the youngest member of the Philadelphia City Council.

Will, who called himself a "hip-hop political-activist candidate," ran on the Education Party ticket. which made his candidacy a long shot at best. He has also previously been known as Hiram Ashantee -- the name he took when he worked as an organizer for the New Black Panther Party under radical anti-white, anti-Semitic, anti-gay Muslim leader Khalid Abdul Muhammad. However, Will left the New Panthers before Muhammad's death in 2001.

We await Will's next incarnation.
