The Squall is a 1929 American drama film directed by Alexander Korda and starring Richard Tucker, Alice Joyce and Loretta Young. It was based on the 1926 play The Squall by Jean Bart. The film is set in Hungary, where a gypsy girl caught in a storm takes shelter in a farmhouse. She entertains all the male members of the household, leading to jealous anger. The spell she has put on the house is only lifted when her husband arrives and takes her away.
The film has been released to DVD via the Warner Archive label.
