The Leftovers is an upcoming American television drama series created by Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta for HBO, based on Perrotta's novel of the same name. The pilot will be written by Lindelof and Perrotta, and directed by Peter Berg. The series stars Justin Theroux, Carrie Coon, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler and Ann Dowd. The series will premiere in 2014.
