Striptease is a 1996 American comedy-drama film directed, produced, and written by Andrew Bergman. The film stars Demi Moore, Burt Reynolds, and Ving Rhames. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen; it is about a stripper who becomes involved in both a child-custody dispute and corrupt politics.
Striptease was generally reviled by critics. It wound up winning several Golden Raspberry Awards, which are given to the worst in cinema. Among these awards given to Striptease was the Razzie Award for Worst Picture of 1996.
