Misee Harris (born October 18, 1984) is an American model, pediatric dentist, philanthropist, humanitarian and motivational speaker who made history after launching a nationwide social media campaign to be America's first Black Bachelorette. Harris turned down an opportunity to be a contestant on ABC's show The Bachelor so that she wouldn't be labeled as the "token black girl," and focused on being America's first Black Bachelorette in order to inspire other black girls to set high goals.
