Matt Farnsworth (born August 16, 1978) is an American actor, director, producer, writer, and editor. He is the creator of the famed slasher film The Orphan Killer. Farnsworth has also appeared on national television shows and in independent films as an actor. Farnsworth has a famous background in film editing having been taught the craft by Robert Brown. In a 2012 interview
with Starburst magazine Farnsworth states Brown taught him editing while working on Farnsworth's film IOWA. Farnsworth has an unorthodox approach to filmmaking bringing about an organic realistic feeling to his work, which was been compared to that of David Lynch and Quentin Tarantino.
