Fame is a 2009 musical film and a loose remake of the 1980 film of the same title. It was directed by Kevin Tancharoen and written by Allison Burnett. It was released on September 25, 2009 in the USA, Canada, Ireland, and the UK. The movie follows NYC talents attending the New York City High School of Performing Arts (known today as Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School), where students get specialized training that often leads to success as actors, singers, etc.
