Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn Thomas didn't exactly have a showmance on Survivor: Worlds Apart, as they were just friends and Sierra was responsible for voting Joe out, despite his attempts to flirt with her. Neither person was looking for love on the island.

However, Joe said the pair's friendship developed into something more after the game when they both attended Survivor-related events and got to know each other better.

Sierra announced her engagement to Joe in early April 2019 with an Instagram posting, and then on November 14, Sierra revealed the couple had obtained their marriage license certificate.

Joe and Sierra both took to Instagram with a romantic wedding photo on November 26 to announce they had tied the knot and are officially married. Joe called Sierra the love of his life in his posting, and Sierra dubbed Joe her "Prince Charming" now and forever.

In addition to playing on Survivor: Worlds Apart, Joe had appeared on Survivor: Cambodia -- Second Chance, the 31st Survivor season that was cast based on viewer voting, as well as Survivor: Edge of Extinction in early 2019.
