Shanghai Calling is a 2012 American romantic-comedy film written and directed by Daniel Hsia and produced by Janet Yang. Starring Daniel Henney, Eliza Coupe, and Bill Paxton, Shanghai Calling is a story about a group of Americans who find themselves immigrants in a foreign country.

Synopsis

Sam Chao (Daniel Henney), an ambitious New York attorney, is sent to Shanghai on an assignment. Things go disastrously wrong and he finds his career in jeopardy. With the help of his beautiful relocation specialist Amanda Wilson (Eliza Coupe), fast food executive Donald Cafferty (Bill Paxton), and a few others, Sam just might be able to save his job and learn to appreciate the wonders that Shanghai has to offer.
