Ko Woo-ri Biography

Ko Woo-ri (born February 22, 1988) is a South Korean singer, TV presenter, dancer, actress and promotional model. She is the oldest member and the main rapper of Rainbow, a South Korean girl group, within which her designated color is orange.

Biography

Woo-ri was born in Jeonju, South Korea on February 22, 1988. She is trained in singing and dancing. She studied at Daejeon Arts High School and Korea National Sport University. She is formerly a trainee at SM Entertainment before switching to DSP Media.

Career

Rainbow

Woo-ri debut as member of 7-member girl group on November 14, 2009, she was the last member to join the group.

Acting career

On November 10, 2011, Woo-ri made her debut as an actress in film You're My Pet (film). On August February 27, 2012, she acted in KBS2's drama I Need a Fairy.

TV shows

Woo-ri was a fixed member in season 2 of KBS2's Invincible Youth.

On February 21, 2013, Woo-ri along with Kim Jae-kyung and Kim Ji-sook become the special MC on M! Countdown.
