Florence Fabricant Biography

Florence Fabricant is a food critic for The New York Times living in Manhattan, New York and East Hampton.

Fabricant holds an M.A. degree from New York University, having graduated in 1962. Fabricant started her writing career in 1972, writing for The East Hampton Star. Her works with The Society of MSKCC helped raise money for cancer care, research, and treatment.

In addition to contributing to the restaurant, metro, style and travel sections of the Times, she has published eleven cookbooks:
