WWE Champion AJ Styles addressed the upcoming Fatal 5-Way title match at Fastlane Tuesday on Smackdown which led to individual matches between its competitors.

Styles -- after listing how he could defeat any of his future Fastlane opponents including Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin and Dolph Ziggler one-on-one -- was placed in a match against Corbin while Owens was placed in a match against Ziggler by Smackdown commissioner Shane McMahon.

Ziggler, who was added to the Fastlane match alongside Corbin last week, took the fight to Owens and appeared to have the match under control until Zayn entered the arena and rushed down to the ring.

The distraction allowed Owens to nail Ziggler with a kick to the face from behind which knocked out The Show Off and allowed Owens to claim the victory. Despite not being on the same page in recent weeks, in appears Zayn and Owens are back to working together.

Styles, in the main event, used his speed and athleticism to battle the towering Corbin who was looking to make a statement against the reigning champion.

One impressive moment involved Corbin pushing Styles towards the announce table, however, Styles landed on his feet and quickly charged back into the ring to deliver a Phenomenal Forearm for a close two count.

After Styles reversed The Lone Wolf's End of Days into a Calf Crusher, The Phenomenal One ended the match and earned the victory after delivering a second Phenomenal Forearm for the three count.

As Styles celebrated in the ring, he was attacked by Owens and Zayn who teased putting the title holder through a table before Corbin got involved and delivered a End of Days to both men.
