Tyrese Gibson blamed co-star Dwayne Johnson for the delayed release of "Fast and Furious 9."

Gibson shared an Instagram photo of the film's April 10, 2020 release date, calling out Johnson's behavior as the reason for the late release.

"Congratulations to [The Rock] and your brother in law aka 7 bucks producing partner [Hiram Garcia] for making the fast and the furious franchise about YOU," Gibson wrote.

"And like you, DJ even if they call I will not be deleting this post - Gn folks see you in 2020 April #FastFamily right? Nah... it's about #TeamDewayne #3yrs will it be worth the wait? #NoShaw just Hobbs will this be another #BayWatch? Guys guys just relax I'm just a passionate film critic."

Gibson's comments alluded to a rumored spinoff of "The Fast and the Furious" franchise focusing on Johnson's character Luke Hobbs.

"Fast and Furious 9" was originally planned for April 19, 2019 and while Universal Pictures did not offer a formal explanation for the delay Gibson had previously criticized Johnson for focusing on the spinoff film.

Johnson has also publicly feuded with "Fast and Furious" co-star Vin Diesel, before seemingly settling their differences.
