Kardashian, 34, explained her decision to have Thompson, 27, in the delivery room after Sunday's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" showed her giving birth to daughter True Thompson.

"I made it very clear that I was still disgusted by his actions but I wasn't going to let ANYTHING ruin this moment I've been waiting for my ENTIRE life #KUWTK," she tweeted Sunday evening.

Kardashian told fans she wanted Thompson there for the sake of their daughter.

"Regardless of what Tristan did to me, I was never going to take that moment away from True or Tristan," she wrote.

"She should not be punished for his actions. He is her father and they both deserve to love one another as deeply as They possibly can #KUWTK."

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star gave birth to True in April following reports Thompson cheated during her pregnancy.

She reflected on the situation in a confessional shot during the episode.

"This is something that I've waited for my entire life. I don't want to take away anything from this moment and I've always been a believer of don't make permanent decisions off of temporary emotions," Kardashian said.

"I want Tristan here with me. I want to experience this magical moment. I want this for me, my daughter and for him, at the end of the day," she added.

"I'm mature enough to put my personal feelings aside."

Kardashian and Thompson, a forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers, have reconciled since the scandal.

Thompson shared a family photo with Kardashian and True in October while celebrating Halloween as a family.
