Josh and Hollie were deemed the least in need of a transformation, and as a result the 21-year-old UC Berkeley mechanical engineering student from Oakland, CA and his partner, a 26-year-old theme park performer from Orlando, FL, became the second couple eliminated from Beauty and the Geek's fourth season during last night's broadcast of The CW reality competition series.

"I want people at home to know that geeks are the most wonderful people on the face of the planet," said Hollie following her elimination.  "They're like the sweetest, the smartest... They probably have the most to offer throughout life."

Beauty and the Geek 4's third episode began following the previous elimination of Tony and Amanda, who were booted instead of John, a 22-year-old analog circuit design student from Frederick, MD, and his partner Natalie, a 22-year-old waitress and Hooters promotional model from Raleigh, NC.

As the nine remaining couples popped some bottles of champagne to celebrate, 25-year-old Raleigh-Durham, NC-resident Will noticed it was an "opportunity to cut loose."  Both Will and David, a 28-year-old fire department administrator from Somerville, MA, commented on how they were attracted to Hollie's geeky tendencies.

"Hollie has certainly surprised me.  She is actually downright geeky in her own right," said Will.

As the champagne flowed a game of truth or dare eventually commenced.  Will dared his partner Rebecca, a 24-year-old student from Crown Point, IN, to give John, a 22-year-old analog circuit design student from Frederick, MD, a lap dance.  She did and he described it as "awkward," not knowing where he should look as it was happening.

Rebecca then dared Sam, a 26-year-old party promoter from Davis, CA who is serving as the hunky guy, to take off his shirt and perform a lap dance for his partner Nicole, a 25-year-old Tufts University musicology graduate student from San Francisco, CA who is serving as the nerdy girl.  While Nicole declined because she was uncomfortable, Sam still performed for the rest of the girls.

"Sam has that rugged, bad boy... He just fits my characteristics of what I like in a guy," explained Rebecca.  Dave also commented he was "attracted" to Nicole, who said she's interested in at least one of the geeks, on the search for the competition's "alpha nerd."  Her comment "peaked" Dave's curiosity.

However as the night wore on, it became more evident to the beauties and geeks that the only ones who would be hooking up were Rebecca and Sam.  Hollie and William, a 23-year-old software engineer from Alexandria, VI, eventually just dared them to do it.  They didn't need a dare, as they made-out once everyone else had turned in for the night.

"I'm really concerned," said Rebecca.  "I definitely need to like slap myself and wake up because I'm here for one reason -- one reason only -- I need to find out who I am as a person... What is going on needs to stop.  I don't want it to but it does.  It needs to stop."

Host Mike Richards met the couples the next morning and informed them the beauties would be studying anatomy while the geeks would be learning about romance.  As Will stated he was confident in Rebecca because of her background as a massage therapist, the geeks were taken out of the house for some "hands on experience in the art of romance."  Hollie noticed that due to Rebecca's blossoming relationship with Sam, their friendship was deteriorating.

"Rebecca and I bonded instantly because we share a bathroom and we get ready together in the morning.  We became very close.  We were running around the house together having a great time," commented Hollie.  "Not so much lately because she's kind of with Sam all the time."  Instead of studying, the beauties gossiped (Sam and Rebecca fooled around).

The geeks arrived at a farmer's market, where they were each given $100 to assemble the "ultimate romantic gift basket."  The baskets would then be judged by the beauties, who wouldn't know which basket belonged to who.  The goal was to be creative and unique, and the geek with the highest scoring basket would be safe from the next elimination along with his partner.

Nicole immediately thought she'd excel at the challenge because she thought she was "more in touch" with what girls want then the other geeks.  As they scoured the farmer's market and decorated their respective baskets, each of the geeks took a different approach.

After the beauties scored each basket, Mike revealed Will and Jesse, a 26-year-old software engineer from Cincinnati, OH, were the Top 2.  Jesse stuffed his basket with stickers, coloring books and a pink hat, while Will went with a Fall motif.  Jesse was hopeful, however for the second week in a row Will won the geek's challenge, meaning he and Rebecca were safe and also had the opportunity to send a couple to the elimination round.

"It's definitely exciting that I have been winning because of what it says about me," boasted Will.  "Strength, confidence, self-assuredness..."

Will's vanity went to a whole different plateau when he decided to host a story time and read Edgar Allen Poe's "The Tell Tale Heart" for several of the beauties and a few of the geeks.

"When Will was sitting in the chair reading that story to us," commented Jennifer, a 26-year-old waitress and model from Boston, MA, "he was very like, 'I am the man.  Look what I can do.  I can read so well.'  I think he's just basking in all his glory of, 'I can send you all to eliminations.  You must listen to me now.  You must listen to me speak.'"

While Will entertained, Rebecca and Sam got together in the closet, and The CW insinuated they did more than just make-out this time.

The next morning the geek's decided to don spandex body suits to help the beauties study anatomy for their upcoming challenge before they split into smaller groups and crammed on their own.  For the beauties' challenge, each would have to locate and draw human organs on their partners in finger paint.  The beauties' accuracy would be judged by UCLA anatomy professor Dr. Robert Trelease.

All of the beauties were able to locate the heart, however Sam; Erin, a 22-year-old hair stylist from Carol Stream, IL; and Shalandra, a 26-year-old bartender from Little Rock, AR, had problems locating the left earlobe (Sam and Shay highlighted the right lobe while Erin painted too much lobe).  Hollie; Natalie; Jasmine, a 22-year-old nanny from Columbus, OH; and Katie, a 25-year-old retail store manager from Schaumburg, IL, couldn't correctly find the appendix.

With the challenge down to Jennifer and Rebecca, they were asked to find the nasal septum.  Jennifer incorrectly colored in an area of her partner's neck while Rebecca was dead on, meaning she and Will would decide both of the couples who would be sent to the elimination round.

"Thank God I got Rebecca," said Sam.  "I'm safe until next time."

Will quickly realized the problem with he and Rebecca claiming victory in both of the challenges.

"Now Rebecca and I are choosing both teams to go to elimination," he explained.  "That means somebody is coming back and we sent them there... It's dangerous."  Will and Rebecca then discussed their options.  She explained other teams are starting to talk about how Will has "too much power" and it's "going to his head a little bit."  She told him to be "humble about it" and then commented on her own "distraction," Sam.

Rebecca then revealed she was sending Hollie and Josh to the elimination round because Hollie is "already geeky, witty, smart" and Josh is "charming and attractive."

"They don't need that much improvement," said Rebecca.  Will revealed he chose Jesse and Erin because "they seem to not be interacting much" with members of the opposite sex.  Erin looked crushed and cried, explained she didn't agree with Will's assessment.

"Maybe I haven't interacted with [Will] as much," said Erin.  "He hasn't really come to us or said anything or even made an effort to talk to us, so I don't understand why he would say that about us.  He's just being a hypocrite."

Will was unsure "how big of a target" he now had and was even more concerned with making enemies.  Erin said she was aware Rebecca and Will knew how close she is with Hollie and Natalie and was trying to break them up "on purpose."

The two couples then studied for the elimination round and Hollie opined about her and Josh's situation and Rebecca's comments.

"Instead of Rebecca focusing on her transformation, she's focused on making out with Sam 24/7," said Hollie.  "I guess I should have slept with her.  I guess that's the way we stay in this house."

The geeks would answer questions about romance and the beauties would be quizzed on anatomy.  The studying obviously paid off, as Erin and Hollie both answered each of their questions correctly.  Jesse and Josh also answered their first questions correctly, however Josh didn't know a leather whip was given as a ninth anniversary gift, leading to his and Hollie's ousting from the competition.

"I never really thought of beautiful people as being stupid, but Hollie surprised me in just how smart she was, how into geeky topics she was," commented Josh.  "That just took me off guard."

"I feel much more comfortable with who I am... I feel like a different person," added Hollie.

Beauty and the Geek 4's next episode will air Tuesday, October 9 at 8PM ET/PT on The CW.
