"I love to wear a sexy dress, and when I was on The Bachelorette, the dresses that I wore that were Randi Rahm's were sexy. And I knew on my wedding day, though, I did not want to go for sexy," Rachel, 33, admitted to the New York Post's Page Six.

"I'm a curvy girl. I didn't want something that hugged my figure or to take away from me being a bride, where you're focusing on the wrong thing."

Rachel, an attorney-turned-ESPN personality, is set to marry Bryan, a Miami-based chiropractor, in the Caribbean in August 2019.

The former The Bachelorette star initially had her heart set on wearing a fancy pantsuit to her wedding, but she ultimately changed her mind.

"[Rachel] came to me and said, 'I'm wearing pants,'" Rahm recalled. "I said, 'Oh great,' and then I guess I was saying to her, let's try on some other things because you can always wear pants."

And Rachel apparently agreed, telling Page Six, "I can wear pants on any red carpet at any event. I want to wear something that is unique and special to this day, so that started to get into the idea of what I wanted to wear."

Rachel declined to reveal the details of her highly-anticipated wedding gown, but she said the world won't expect her final choice.

"When I put on the dress, it just spoke to me in a different way. I felt like it encompassed so much of my personality. I was getting a little bit of what Bryan wanted, but at the same time, staying true to myself," Rachel shared.

"When I put it on... I hate cliches, and I fell into the cliche of when you put it on, you'll know. And I put this one on, [and] I can't use any other word other than I melted."

Rachel gushed about how she felt "so comfortable" and "so free" in the dress.

"[It's] so like me, but beautiful at the same time," Rachel noted.

In an Instagram post Rachel posted on Wednesday, she thanked Rahm for capturing the exact bride she wants to be and interpreting that into a dress.

Rachel and Bryan got engaged during the finale of The Bachelorette's thirteenth season in 2017 after Rachel failed to win Nick Viall's heart on The Bachelor's 21st edition.

Although they lived in Dallas, TX, together for a while, they just relocated themselves to Miami, FL.
