The Bachelor alum Rachael Kirkconnell has responded to boyfriend Matt James sharing footage of an argument they had in the car in which she was "pitching a fit" via Instagram.

Matt posted a video late last week on his Instagram Stories of Rachael calling him "mean" and The Bachelor star accusing her of being "hangry" after he allegedly ordered fast food during their trip to North Carolina without asking if she wanted anything first, E! News reported.

On her own Instagram Story, Rachael re-posted a video clip of their lovers' spat as well as a meme of a little boy pouting, which Matt had used to describe Rachael's behavior in the car that day.

Rachael also posted a screenshot of a text conversation she had with a friend, who seemed to think Rachael and Matt's fight was hilarious.

The friend wrote that he or she was "dying" after watching the footage of Rachael complaining to Matt about his burgers and fries, and Rachael replied, "HE DIDNT EVEN ASK ME IF I WANTED ONE. called in two burgers for himself after I had been waiting ALL DAY for food. Offered me one of his which had MAYO AND TOMATO !!!! I couldn't."

Rachael explained to fans that she hates mayo and tomatoes, but she assured her followers, "Don't worry i ate all his fries."

Rachael subsequently posted a video on her Instagram Story in which she was rubbing Matt's chest and all seemed to be fine in the world again.

While watching Loki from Matt's phone together, Rachael joked, "Back to regularly scheduled programming."

On Thursday, Matt's Instagram Stories video featured Matt eating burgers and fries from Char-Grill in Raleigh, NC.

The couple bickered as Matt ate his food and Rachael appeared to be empty-handed, hungry and bothered.

An unidentified person filmed from the backseat of the car as Rachael -- who was sitting in the passenger seat -- lamented to Matt in the driver's seat, "You didn't ask if I wanted anything, either."

"Yeah, I did," Matt replied as he ate.

"No, you didn't," Rachael argued.

"I asked if you wanted something from Whole Foods," Matt countered.

Rachael then replied with attitude, "Where are we? Not at Whole Foods."

Matt assured his girlfriend that this was their "first stop," but Rachael snapped, "You've eaten today -- I haven't. This should have been our second stop."

Matt allegedly offered Rachael some of his food but she didn't want any.

Matt then reasoned, "This is my first meal. Are you hungry? We have food."

In response, Rachael turned away from Matt and quietly said, "You're mean. You didn't even ask."

Matt captioned the video, "You mad?!!" and "LMAOOO! Hangryyy."

And the Season 25 The Bachelor star later posted the meme to his Instagram Story of a little boy pouting on the couch, which he captioned, "LMAO! Pitching a FIT."

He added that Rachael had told him, "This was me in the car today."

Earlier in the week, however, Matt and Rachael seemed to have a blast with Matt's mom, Patty James, at a Carolina Hurricanes playoff hockey game.

Matt gave Rachael his final rose on The Bachelor's Season 25 finale, which filmed in late 2020, but the couple split in February when racially-ignorant and racially-insensitive photos from Rachael's past resurfaced online, including a 2018 image of Rachael attending an antebellum-themed "Old South" party at her Georgia college with sorority sisters.

Matt explained on After the Final Rose in March that he wanted to give Rachael some time to educate herself on racism in society and gain awareness. Matt apparently needed to know that Rachael could support him and truly understand his perspective as a Black man in America.

But according to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone, Matt could only stand his breakup from Rachael for about a month because he allegedly began FaceTiming with her every day following their ATFR appearance, saying he still loved her and wanted her back.

Matt and Rachael apparently reunited on April 4 in New York City to give their relationship another shot, and they proceeded to hang out in Los Angeles and Miami before becoming an official couple again.

"There were rough patches in our relationship," Matt acknowledged during the May 25 episode of The Pomp Podcast, likely alluding to the fact he had been accused of trying to hook up with an old Miami-based flame named Grace shortly before flying Rachael to New York to see him in early April.

Matt explained there was a point in time when he "wasn't really honoring" the commitment he had made to Rachael to work on their relationship" but a "come-to-Jesus meeting" with Rachael got the couple's romance back on the right track.

"We are back together now," Matt confirmed.

"She was like, 'If you're going to make this work, then let's do it. But, if you're not going to make it work, then I'm going to let you do your own thing.' That's really all I needed," Matt recalled.

"It was an ultimatum that I needed... and it's been great."

Matt added, "The best thing about Rachael is her heart. She's the most kind, caring, and understanding person I've ever met... Everything we've been through, everything she's been through, she's stuck right by my side. She's continued to have a positive attitude."

Matt and Rachael have since discussed the possibility of Rachael relocating from Georgia to New York City, where Matt currently resides, and moving in together, E! News reported earlier this month.

"Matt and Rachael are in a really good place right now and are getting serious. They are inseparable and talk all day, every day," a source close to Matt told the website.

"They have been making many plans to see each other so not a huge chunk of time passes before their next visit... [Rachael] has always loved the city, so it would work out well."

The source added that Matt "is truly in love" with Rachael and they "have a special bond" and "really turned a leaf in their relationship."

Matt and Rachael have seemingly enjoyed traveling together since their reconciliation considering they spent Memorial Day weekend in the Hamptons with Matt's best friend Tyler Cameron and his model girlfriend Camila Kendra.
