The Bachelor bachelorette Becca Tilley seems to believe Colton Underwood was chosen to be the next Bachelor for one reason and one reason only.

Becca, who was interviewed with Dean Unglert and Ben Higgins by her side at the 2018 American Music Awards, told Entertainment Tonight she "1,000 percent" thinks Colton was selected to be The Bachelor's Season 23 star because he is a virgin.

"He has a storyline built into it," Becca elaborated. "That's all they're going to talk about."

Becca then referenced her own storyline about being a virgin when she had competed on Chris Soules' edition of The Bachelor three years ago.

"I would know!" said Becca, who finished as the runner-up on Chris' season before competing for Ben's heart on The Bachelor's 20th season and placing fifth.

While Ben insisted Colton's season of The Bachelor next year will be raw, real and emotion-filled, Dean previously admitted the 26-year-old charity founder and former pro football player will be a "horrible" leading man and is "not my Bachelor."

"It's going to be a dumpster fire," Dean told ET late last month. "I don't think he knows exactly what he wants... I think he'll do what he thinks people want him to do and not necessarily what's right for him."

Dean said he'd prefer to see Becca Kufrin's frontrunners, Jason Tartick and Blake Horstmann from The Bachelorette, serve as the Bachelor instead.

Colton first revealed he's a virgin on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season.

Colton explained to Becca he's not necessarily waiting for marriage but rather for the right woman to come into his life and steal his heart. Colton claimed his lack of dating experience stems from the fact he had dedicated so much time and energy to his football career.

Colton, who also appeared on Bachelor in Paradise's fifth season this past summer, began filming The Bachelor's new edition on September 21 in Los Angeles, CA. The show will premiere in January 2019.
