Desiree Hartsock chose Chris Siegfried, a former pro baseball player, during the season finale of The Bachelorette's ninth season over runner-up Drew Kenney.

Chris proposed marriage during the August 2013 finale, and Desiree accepted. The couple then got married in January 2015.

Desiree and Chris announced they were expecting their first child together in April 2016, and then they welcomed their son, Asher Wrigley, in October 2016.

Desiree then announced her second pregnancy in July 2018 and the couple welcomed a second boy, Zander Cruz Siegfried, in January 2019.
