U.S. cable TV networks TBS and TNT are launching video Web sites, with TBS planning to stream its new original comedies online.
Laugh Lab at TBS.com will feature videos of more than 80 stand-up comedians as well as episodes of "My Boys" and "10 Items or Less," TVWeek.com reported Tuesday. The Web site will launch in the fall.
Laugh Lab will also feature a blog including videos and commentary, described as a showplace for user-generated content and a collection of TBS's Department of Humor Analysis shorts featuring "Monty Python" alumnus John Cleese.
Before diving into the Internet with original content, TBS is launching Veryfunnyads.com Wednesday, an interactive site for TV commercial fans as well as a companion to its broadcast special, "World's Funniest Commercials."
