Susan Boyle has canceled her planned appearance on "Dancing with the Stars" because she is ill, the Scottish singing sensation's publicist said Monday.

"The Britain's Got Talent" runner-up was scheduled to sing "Hallelujah" on Tuesday's edition of "Dancing," but her representative told TMZ she had to scrap her appearance on the U.S. series because she has a throat infection.

"Susan Boyle has had to cancel her performance on 'Dancing with the Stars' as her doctor advised her not to sing due to a severe throat infection," the representative said.

"Susan is very upset at letting her fans down. Their continued support means so much to her."
