When Angelina competed on Survivor in Fall 2018, she was a 28-year-old financial consultant originally from Sparks, NV, who was living in San Clemente, CA.

She now runs a nonprofit called "Ready to Run" that hopes to prepare and inspire high school girls to run for student government.

Angelina is a also military spouse who revealed to CBS before her stint on Survivor that her husband would be heading out on his second deployment before the end of 2018. She wanted to be a source of strength and inspiration for other military families who have endured long months away from their soldier.

Angelina finished Survivor in third place after she received zero jury votes at the Final Tribal Council.

She lost to runner-up Mike White, who received three votes to win, and the $1 million winner Nick Wilson, who earned himself seven jury votes.

Angelina turned out to be a very polarizing figure on last fall's edition of Survivor.

During their exit interviews with Reality TV World, castaway Elizabeth Olsen accused Angelina of being "the most devious" player in the game, while Alison Raybould called her "bossy" and even "evil."

"I was not trying to be a villain by any means! No, my intention was not to be a villain; my intention was to play aggressively," Angelina told Reality TV World in her own exit interview in December 2018.

"And what I think is strongly at play is the double standard that exists in the game and in life, where unfortunately, women are still heavily penalized a lot when we display aggressive behaviors that are out of line with what stereotypes or expectations are of us -- being kind, caring and compassionate."

She added at the time, "I was hoping the level of gameplay was high enough that people would not take it personally but see it as game. I was all business; everything was a game... [But] of course looking back, I think there could have been a lot more room for tweaks and changes for sure."

While competing on Survivor, Angelina was also particularly vocal and outspoken about wanting Jeremy Crawford voted out of their tribe.

During his exit interview, Jeremy told Reality TV World that Angelina had wanted him voted off because he had suggested she and castaway John Hennigan were in a showmance.

Jeremy said at the time Angelina would do or say anything to accomplish a mission because she was arguably the biggest threat on the Goliath tribe at one point.

However, both Angelina and John later decided Jeremy's showmance claims.

"There was no showmance," John told Reality TV World in November 2018.

"I think Jeremy blew up his own game because he saw... that people were forming alliances and talking, and Angelina and I were in an alliance. I talked a lot of game with her. And so he started labeling things incorrectly, which was ridiculous."

John later added, "I think his feelings were hurt by the way he got voted out. So it kind of sucks because I feel he's been lashing out now."
