Tom Hanks' fact-based, flight drama "Sully" is the No. 1 movie in North America, earning $35.5 million in receipts this weekend, announced Sunday.

Coming in at No. 2 is "When the Bough Breaks" with $15 million, followed by "Don't Breathe" at No. 3 with $8.2 million, "Suicide Squad" at No. 4 with $5.7 million and "The Wild Life" at No. 5 with $3.4 million.

Rounding out the top tier are "Kubo and the Two Strings" at No. 6 with $3.2 million, "Pete's Dragon" at No. 7 with $2.9 million, "Bad Moms" at No. 8 with $2.8 million, "Hell or High Water" at No. 9 with $2.6 million and "Sausage Party" at No. 10 with $2.3 million.
