Snooki has reportedly moved from imitating MTV's 16 & Pregnant to the network's Engaged and Underage reality series.

Jersey Shore star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi -- who has remained unusually silent since new reports that she is pregnant surfaced last week -- has gotten engaged to boyfriend Jionni LaValle, People reported Monday.

Snooki had hinted at a possible upcoming engagement earlier this year.

"I know he's the one so I know the ring's gonna come soon," she told People on January 12. "Well, not soon-soon. He knows it should be big, cuz if it's small I'm saying no. Like, 'Get another ring!' "

Reports that Snooki was expecting her first child with LaValle originally surfaced on February 1, but she and her rep had both immediately -- and repeatedly -- denied the Jersey Shore star was pregnant.

"There's no truth to the reports," her representative told MTV News later that same day.

"Does that mean they're calling me fat?" Snooki reportedly said during an interview with the Opie and Anthony radio show on February 1. "That means that I have a belly then."

"I definitely do want kids, but I'm not pregnant... being pregnant should be a real thing and a happy thing, and I'm not," she added during a separate February 2 appearance on Good Morning America.

However, according to a new New York Post report published last Wednesday, Snooki -- who is currently filming her upcoming Jersey Shore spinoff with Jenni "JWoww" Farley in New Jersey -- falsely denied the pregnancy and is now about three months along.

Snooki's representative declined comment when contacted by the Post, which reported the Jersey Shore star hopes "to bankroll her mommy-to-be status into becoming 'the next Kourtney Kardashian'" and has already landed a deal to announce her pregnancy on the cover of Us Weekly.

Snooki's no-comment stance has continued since the Post report was published.  And in an uncharacteristic move, Us Weekly has also not reported on the now-widespread pregnancy reports on its own website.
