Sharon Osbourne may or may not be leaving NBC's America's Got Talent.

Osbourne wrote a cryptic tweet to fellow America's Got Talent judge Howard Stern yesterday in which she suggested she was leaving the show and salary negotiations would not be the reason behind her departure.

"My darling [Howard], money is not the reason I'm not returning to [America's Got Talent], it's because..." Osbourne tweeted without any further elaboration.

Osbourne was apparently replying to a Monday tweet from The Howard Stern Show's Twitter account in which someone had tweeted Stern wasn't sure whether he'll return to America's Got Talent for another season and Osbourne may not come back either if she doesn't get a bigger paycheck.

NBC is reportedly claiming they've heard nothing from Osbourne about her leaving the show.

"This is coming out of context and sort of spontaneously, and we don't even know what's going on. And it's probably much ado about nothing," NBC Entertainment chief Robert Greenblatt told reporters during a meeting at the Television Critics Association press tour on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press.

Osbourne's representative has also reportedly declined comment.
