Prince William and Kate Middleton, the British royal couple whose fairytale-like romance enchanted the world, celebrated their fifth anniversary on Friday.

Five years after a massive wedding held in the heart of England, two children and dozens of global visits, the Prince and his wife, the now-Duchess of Cambridge, appear to be as strong as ever.

There is no news on how the royal couple will be celebrating five years, but Kensington Palace has been celebrating by posting throwback videos of their marriage on social media.

Below are five memorable moments from the royal couple's marriage:

1. The nuptials

The wedding, which took place April 29, 2011, was of massive proportions and was watched by millions of people around the world. Kate Middleton met her future husband while an Art History major at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. The couple was engaged in Nov. 2010 and married less than a year later at Westminister Abbey.

2. Prince George's birth

Little Prince George, the two-year-old son of Prince William and Middleton, was born July 22, 2013. Following his birth, the royal parents took some time outside to be photographed with their newborn.

4. Princess Charlotte's birth

During the summer of last year, Middleton gave birth to her first daughter, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. The soon-to-be one-year-old posed for her mother in a pair of photos released by the British Monarchy.

5. Royal visit to Washington, D.C.

This year, the couple made their way to visit President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, bringing along their son, Prince George. The product of the meeting was a series of cute photos with George, 2, playing on his new rocking horse.
