Rapper Kevin Federline was seen partying this week in Los Angeles, one day before it was revealed he would soon no longer receive his spousal support payments.

Court documents filed this week in Los Angeles show singer Britney Spears will no longer have to give her ex-husband $20,000 a month in support due to a pre-existing prenuptial agreement, the New York Daily News reported Saturday.

The Los Angeles Superior Court documents show that under the still valid agreement, Spears is not liable for additional spousal payments beginning in two months.

Friday's legal revelation comes as the former couple is locked in a heated custody battle for their two children, the newspaper said.

One day prior to receiving the devastating news, Federline was spotted out at a pair of Los Angeles nightclubs with Nicole Narain, the ex-girlfriend of actor Colin Ferrell.

People magazine said that although Federline did not arrive at the clubs with Narain, known for her publicly released sex tape with Ferrell, the pair did dance with one another repeatedly during the night.
