British rocker Pete Doherty was busted in London Wednesday for possession of what was reportedly crack cocaine.

Police said they pulled over Doherty's car because he was driving erratically and found drugs in a search of the vehicle, Sky News reported.

The admitted and frequently arrested drug abuser was charged with alleged possession of Class A drugs and later released on bail pending the outcome of an investigation.

Doherty, 26, has been in the news lately for his on-again, off-again relationship with supermodel Kate Moss, who recently spent a month in an Arizona rehab center.

The former Libertines singer recently released his first album with new band Babyshambles.
