Patton Oswalt was photographed holding hands with actress Meredith Salenger at the premiere for the film "Baby Driver."

Salenger also tweeted a selfie of her and Oswalt, smiling with their heads together, while Sony Pictures posted a picture of Salenger photobombing Oswalt on the red carpet for the event.

People magazine said this could be the first public romance the comedian and actor has been in since his wife Michelle McNamara died on April 21, 2016.

Her cause of death at age 46 was a mix of prescription medications and an undiagnosed heart condition that caused blockages in her arteries.

Salenger, 47, is know for her work in the films "The Journey of Natty Gann," "Dream a Little Dream," "A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon" and "Lake Placid."

Oswalt, 48, is a standup comedian who is also known for his work on TV's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "King of Queens."
