Netflix has officially ordered a new "Carmen Sandiego" series with Gina Rodriguez.

The 32-year-old actress will voice the titular globe-trotting thief in an animated reboot based on the 1980s computer game Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Carmen Sandiego" will premiere a 20-episode first season in 2019. The show will follow a young Carmen and answer how and why she became a super thief.

"Stranger Things" actor Finn Wolfhard will co-star as Player, Carmen's friend and chief accomplice.

Rodriguez confirmed her role in the series Friday after word of the project broke.

"I already have the fedora and coat. So it's definitely true," she tweeted in response to a fan inquiry.

Carmen Sandiego originated as a computer game series that later inspired a game show and a television and book series.

Rita Moreno voiced "Carmen in Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?," which had a four-season run on Fox from 1994 to 1999.
