Mindy Kaling's team celebrated her daughter's birth by cooking her a special holiday dinner.

The 38-year-old actress said in an Instagram post Thursday that her female staffers threw her a Nora Ephron-themed holiday dinner days after she welcomed her first child, Katherine.

Kaling shared a photo of the event's menu, which played on Ephron's movie "You've Got Mail."

Choices included "Shopgirl's Pasta Pomodoro" and "Fox Books-el Sprouts with Dates and Haloumi."

"I usually do a holiday dinner with the young women that work with me but I've had a busy week! So they brought the holiday dinner to me. It's a You've Got Mail Norah Ephron-themed holiday dinner," the star wrote.

"Look at this menu! Look at these Nora Ephron deep cuts!" she gushed. "(Maybe for dessert we will have coffee... Patricia? Patricia's amazing. Patricia makes coffee nervous.)"

E! News reported this week that Kaling gave birth to a baby girl Friday.

The actress, who has not shared the identity of her daughter's father, said in an interview in August that she was "really excited" to become a mom.

"It's so unknown to me," she said of parenthood on "Sunday Today" with Willie Geist.

"I have a lot of control over a lot of aspects of my life, and this is one where I'm like, 'Okay, it's out of my hands,' which is kind of a fun feeling."

Kaling is known for the TV series "The Mindy Project," which ended in November after six seasons.

She will star alongside Oprah Winfrey and Reese Witherspoon in Disney's new adaptation of "A Wrinkle in Time."
