Married at First Sight's Tristan Thompson insisted in a recent episode he trusts Mia Bally completely despite previously catching her in multiple lies, so what do castmates Dave Flaherty and Danielle Bergman think about Tristan's newfound sense of security in his marriage?

Given Mia lied to Tristan at the beginning of Season 7 about the circumstances surrounding her shocking airport arrest on allegations of stalking, Married at First Sight viewers probably had a hard time believing Tristan when he said he had no desire to look through Mia's phone during a phone-swap exercise Dr. Pepper Schwartz had suggested.

"Knowing everything Tristan and Mia have gone through, are you shocked to hear Tristan say he trusts Mia fully? Do you believe him when he says that?" Jamie Otis asked the two cast members on Tuesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered.

"No, I don't believe him," confessed Dave, who decided not to look through Amber's phone either on the recent episode.

"But I will say this: I think the whole lead-up to the experiment, the process, gets you to a place where you are focused on supporting the person you are with. You are ready to go through this, you are excited to go through it, and you're going to sort of make it through thick and thin. And I think that's what Tristan did."

"I mean, he's stuck with [Mia] through some pretty traumatic stuff and a phone swap is pretty minimal on that list," Danielle pointed out.

Danielle, in fact, chose to switch phones with her husband, Bobby Dodd, although both individuals had no reason to question each other's loyalty or faithfulness.

"I think I might have wanted to have seen [Mia's] phone at that point," Dave confessed with a laugh.

"I maybe would have wanted to see her phone [too]!" Danielle agreed. "I would have taken that opportunity!"

But then again, Danielle reasoned, "But if things are going well, do you want to spoil it at that point? I don't know, it's tough."

"Ignorance is bliss. I don't know if I could do it. But hey, Tristan, we're proud of you, man!" Jamie noted.

Mia was detained in a Texas airport while she and Tristan were traveling to Cancun, Mexico for their honeymoon. Mia was pulled away for questioning and spent two days in custody due to a warrant that had been issued for her arrest back in February.

Once Mia was released without bail and returned home to her husband in Dallas, Tristan asked whether the stalking claims he had read in the warrant were true and if she knew or had any type of relationship with the accuser.

Mia denied knowing her accuser and insisted all claims against her, including unauthorized use of a man's credit card, were "100 percent false" and someone had stolen her identity.

Although Mia's story didn't really make sense, Tristan had no good reason not to trust his new wife, so he hugged Mia and dropped the topic.

However, Mia "came clean" to Tristan off-camera days later that she did, in fact, have a brief relationship with the man who had filed the arrest warrant. Mia said she lied because she felt overwhelmed by the situation and felt the need to protect herself from hurt.

Tristan felt upset and betrayed by Mia's dishonesty, but he decided to stand by his wife when she needed him the most.

The arrest warrant had been issued after Mia's alleged ex-boyfriend, Jared Evans, claimed she had stalked him on multiple occasions in the 13 months that followed their December 2016 breakup and also made an unauthorized purchase of an Apple iPhone on his credit card a year after their split.

Tristan's trust in Mia was tested again when a friend warned him later on that Mia's profile had surfaced and still existed on a dating app -- another allegation Mia had denied.
