Married at First Sight viewers haven't seen anything yet, according to expert Dr. Viviana Coles, who says Season 10 will be "explosive" and the five couples experience twists and turns like never before.

"This season is so unexpected and unpredictable," Viviana recently told The New York Post about Married at First Sight's tenth season, which premiered earlier this month.

"It's explosive television," she added.

Viviana and her fellow Married at First Sight experts, Pastor Calvin Roberson and Dr. Pepper Schwartz, matched five couples from the Washington, D.C. area to marry at first sight.

As the newlyweds got to know each other, Viviana explained major problems emerged -- including exes, which became "a pattern."

As viewers already saw on Married at First Sight's first couple of episodes, Katie Conrad second guessed her decision to marry a stranger after her ex-boyfriend came back into her life and expressed his love for her.

However, Katie chose to follow through with the extreme experiment in the hope of being matched with a man who's on the same page about commitment and wanting to be married.

The 25-year-old mental health professional from Virginia therefore said, "I do," to Derek Sherman, a 26-year-old cyber security engineer from Maryland.

"They are funny," Viviana told The Post of one of the youngest couples in Married at First Sight history. "Both [are] very charming and endearing when it comes to how they view life."

However, the experts worried their young ages might impact their commitment to marriage, especially when taking into consideration Derek had never even been in love before.

The experts also matched Jessica Studer, a 31-year-old nurse manager from Ohio, with Austin Hurd, a 31-year-old network technician from Maryland.

"They both seem really committed to the idea of being married," Viviana reasoned. "We would talk about Jessica and Austin as almost the same person."

But Viviana revealed one of the partners was very "set in their ways," which hindered the person's ability to let someone new into his or her life.

Viviana also teased being close with family isn't always a good thing and unsolicited outside opinions affected this marriage.

As viewers are well aware, Jessica is very tight with her twin sister.

The third couple of Season 10 is Taylor Dunklin, a 27-year-old research scientist from Pennsylvania, and Brandon Reid, a 34-year-old sales manager originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands who was raised in Washington, D.C.

Viviana said they were paired together because they're both exciting, well-rounded and social people interested in sciences and the arts.

"They're going to be out, like, every night," Viviana told The Post.

Viviana warned the newspaper, however, that strong personalities can often clash -- and Taylor is extremely driven.

"[She needs a partner who's] extremely confident and appreciates both intellect and beauty. [She] can be intimidating, and we knew that," Viviana said.

And then there's Zach Justice, a 32-year-old fitness professional from Georgia, and Mindy Shiben, a 34-year-old figure skating coach from Maryland.

Given they're both active and fit, they seem like a great match. Viviana added Mindy and Zach are also "deep thinkers" who share an "intense approach to life" and their goals.

The Married at First Sight experts apparently feared Zach would be focused on Mindy's looks given he's a well-groomed personal trainer.

In addition, the experts knew Mindy would need a man who could help her deal with past trauma, which included the death of her sister as well as a miscarriage.

"With the two of them being so in their heads, it was challenging," Viviana noted.

And finally, Meka Jones, a 25-year-old category analyst from Maryland, was set to wed Michael Watson, a 31-year-old education director from Washington, D.C.

The experts loved how both participants were raised by single women and had to become independent at young ages.

"They are very noble, conscientious people," who bring out the best in each other, Viviana told The Post.

But since neither person had a father figure, Viviana said the experts were concerned Michael and Meka didn't have a good an ideal example of marriage in their lives.

The experts reportedly worried neither Meka or Michael "had a sufficient amount of confidence in what marriage entails," according to Viviana.

"They could either bond over that, or it could be something that made them wary of each other."
