Marilyn Manson has canceled nine concert dates from his Heaven Upside Down Tour following his on-stage accident in New York.

"Marilyn Manson is being forced to cancel several of his October dates on his forthcoming US tour," the rocker's rep said in a statement.

"On Saturday night, the legendary performer suffered an injury on stage towards the end of his set at NYC's Hammerstein Ballroom causing him to cut the show short. He was treated for the injury at a local hospital and will be recuperating at home in Los Angeles," the statement continued.

The incident involved having a large replica resembling two guns fall down on Manson as he was performing "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These)."

The canceled dates that begin Oct.2 in Boston through Oct. 14 in Houston are set to be rescheduled for a later date. Manson is scheduled to resume his tour on Oct. 15 at the Freaker's Ball in Texas.

Manson made headlines in July when he announced the death of his father Hugh Warner.
